HTTP Headers Checker

View the response headers for any public URL, including status and redirect target.

Results appear here.

What the result means

The Worker fetches the URL once and does not follow redirects, so the headers you see belong to that first response. The status and the final requested URL are shown with the header list. Header names are displayed as the platform returns them. Names are not case-sensitive in HTTP, and the runtime may already have normalised them. Set-Cookie values are replaced with a redacted marker so a session cookie is not copied into the page. The body is discarded and is never sent to the browser. The same private-address rules as the down check apply before the connection. A Location header, when present, is the redirect target. It is not proof the next hop was fetched. Use the redirect checker when you want the whole chain.

Questions

Why don't I see the page HTML?

This tool is a header check. The Worker reads the status and headers, then drops the body so the page cannot become an open proxy for someone else's content.

What is a location header?

Location is the URL a 3xx response tells the client to request next. Because this check does not follow redirects, Location is the target of the first hop only.

Why is set-cookie redacted?

A Set-Cookie value can be a session. The name of the header is kept so you can see that a cookie was set, and the value is replaced so it is not shown on screen.
